Available in 8 oz. Retail Tubs, 8.5 lb. and 50 lb. containers.

Design Waters latest product is also their most innovative....Sterilene. It is used to treat for coliform bacteria. While most people try to treat with just chlorine, it is innefective. The problem with treating with chlorine, is once mixed with water, the pH rises and the chlorine becomes less effective. As the pH continues to rise the chlorine also becomes oxidative, causing reddish water, extreme corrosion, and produces chlorine gas (smell). Sterilene solves this problem by not raising pH levels while still treating the water. It's also:
  • 200 times more effective than chlorine
  • no premixing with vinegar or ChloraPal
  • no shelf life issues
  • granular, but easy mixing in cold water
  • no oxidizer labels needed
